I am a long time media professional (many years in radio station ownership and management) with a current passion for emerging media and all of the opportunities that technology has made possible today. The former impenetrable media barriers created by FCC licensing and enjoyed by giant media organizations are coming down. Here’s the really cool part; individuals, the big boys and consumers will all benefit. Consumer generated content is illustrating how anyone can become a media publisher. While mega media is figuring out how to capture and monetize this content–and they will, creative individuals and entrepreneurs are establishing new opportunities daily.
